To those curious investigators reading now, the "Sabian Symbols" are an astrological, cabbalistic and I believe numerological system for both Gematria and Pythagorian numerology. In short, if you imagine a simple circle and consider the 360 degrees therein, with fundamental astrological application we'll divide it by 12 and get 30. Like spokes on a wheel each of these 30 degrees is represented by a specific image that was the manifestation of extreme ascention and sacred practices undergone by one Marc Edmund Jones. His Sabian Society is currently a functional group that bears no true physical structure from which it operates.

Each sign of the western consideration of astrology is broken into 30 degrees of solar/lunar passage. In truth it is the passage of all orbs. Each orb in a birth chart holds a specific image, keyword and +/- potential. Those new to astrology are welcome. Those with more advanced history with the subject, eastern or western as well as other studies in hermetics will certainly enjoy the artistic and cabbalistic origin of this wheel of images. The beauty of it, however, is that someone of no background can begin, reap benefits and enjoy a timeless tool for learning while turning on this smoky rock.
